Egg industry making strides for post-AI recovery

GAINESVILLE, Ga. — The egg industry has suffered greatly this year due to avian influenza outbreaks and consumers’ pockets can feel some of the impact.

According to Brian Moscogiuri of Urner Barry, the disease has affected 35 million out of 304 million egg-laying hens in the Midwest.
