The spring meeting for the West Virginia Poultry Association is scheduled for April 7 at 11 a.m. with lunch to follow at the Moorefield Ponderosa Restaurant, according to Dale Walker, association president.
The WVPA is accepting new memberships and renewals for the 2016 year. The annual membership is $25 per person or $37.50 for a husband and wife membership.
The organization is engaged in issues to involve producers, business associates and affiliates of the poultry industry. WPVA is actively participates in other issues such as poultry site air and water quality controls, CAFO permit regulations, TMDL’s, avian influenza safety protocol, alternative fuel options and remaining proactive in other aspects of the agriculture industry.
