The HIV Prevention Unit at the Division of Disease Prevention is currently conducting two surveys for transgender people.
The first study is looking for transgender people who have been sexually abused or assaulted. The HIV Prevention Unit would like to use the survey results to prove or disprove the belief that sexually abused or assaulted victims never seek accessed healing services, despite the indicated long-term effects. The survey is also meant to provide additional information about barriers to guide the creation of effect interventions.
